Prof. Shrivastava joined BRNCP in 2007 after a long and successful career in veterinary field. He retired from the post of Head, Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Agriculture University, Jabalpur, M. P. He has an outstanding teaching experience of thirty five years. He has guided six Ph. D. and ten M. V. Sc. thesis. |

| He has also worked as member of selection assessment committees of UPSC, New Delhi and technical advisor to Natural Remedies, Bangalore. Prof. Shrivastava has around 150 research papers in national and international journals of repute and has written two books in veterinary science. |

Mr. Deshmukh completed his M. Pharm from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore (Karnataka) in 2006 and is associated with BRNCP since Feb 2007. He has been awarded two times merit scholarship from Sir Ratan Tata Trust. Mr. Deshmukh is acquisition editor of DST funded IJGP journal and also is referee and Reviewer of various National
and International Journals. |
Research focus
The research in his lab mostly involves using various animal models to study the wound repairs in rats. One of his projects involves study of various phytoconstituents on promotions of various biochemical and biophysical parameter in wound healing in normal as well as diabetic rats. His other areas of research focus are ethnopharmacology and pharmacokinetics. |
