Dr. Kasture is a very well known educationist and scientist in the field of pharmacy. He was head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nagpur University. He completed his M. Pharm. from University of Sagar in 1963 and Ph. D. from Nagpur University in 1981. |

| Dr. Kasture is associated with BRNCP for a long time. His field of specialization is development of analytical methods for drugs and ayurvedic formulations and synthesis & pharmacological screening of benzimidazole derivatives. Dr. Kasture has forty years of teaching experience. |

He has published more than sixty papers in national and international journals. He is co-author of four books on pharmaceutical chemistry and two books on pharmaceutical analysis. He has guided more than sixty Masters thesis and produced eight Ph. D.s. Presently six candidates are pursuing their doctorate under him. He is the editor of Indian Journal of Pharmaceutical Education. |

Dr. Jain has a strong research experience of twenty five years. He completed his M. Sc. in 1974 from University of Rajasthan and Ph. D. in 1982 from University of Indore. After completing his Ph. D. he joined in various capacities (Scientist A- Scientist E2) in Central Institute of medicinal & Aromatic Plants (CIMAP) Lucknow. |

| Afterwards he joined IPCA Labs, Ratlam. There he established the Green Tech division. Dr. Jain is associated with BRNCP from a long time. His research interests involve Natural Products (Isolation, Identification of active compounds, semi-synthesis, process & herbal product development). |

He has also presented thirty five papers in various conferences. Dr. Jain has developed Insecticidal & Antifident agents from plants (Tylophorine, Excelsin, Saponins& Polygodiol) Steroidal & triterpenoid Saponins (Fenugreek, Agave, Albizia, Balanitis& Phaseolus) Photochemicals from crude drugs (Andrographis, Swertia, Tylophora, Tinospora and Ailanthus) Analytical development of Artemisinin, Artemisinic acid, Artemether, Arteether, Santonin & Andrographolides Process development of Artemisinin, Artemisinic acid, Essential oil, Santonin, Andrographolides & Saponins. He has even developed new anti-malarial drug Arteether (E-mal) & Transfer of technology in India. He has around one hundred research and review articles in national and international journals of repute. He has guided two Ph. D.s and three are under process. |

Dr. Gupta possesses vast academic and industrial experience. He has worked in three pharmaceutical companies before joining BRNCP. After completing his post graduation, he started my career as a Project Assistant under supervision of Prof. V. K. Pandey and co-supervision of Dr. M. N. Joshi, Department of Medicinal Chemistry, University of Lucknow, and Department of Microbiology Central Drug Research Institute, (CDRI) Lucknow. |

Afterwards he also worked in CDRI and finally received hid Ph. D. in 2005. His research area involves designing and synthesis of some heterocyclic compounds (azines& azoles derivatives) containing carbohydrate moiety in their fused forms for studying their certain biological properties, designing and synthesis of some oxime derivatives, peculiar aliphatic acid derivatives, purines & pyrimidines bases containing carbohydrate moiety and their pharmacological activities. Multi-step synthesis, heterocyclic molecules design and synthesis, monomer and carbohydrate synthesis, preparation of amino acid anhydrides and synthesis of optically active compounds as well as chiral compounds. He has number of publications in various national and international journals. Currently four M. Pharm. students are pursuing their thesis under him. |

Mr. Sharma completed his M. Pharm. from BITS-Pilani in 2001. Thereon he taught for some time at Dehradun and Jodhpur. Later he moved to University of Montana, US. He has been associated with BRNCP from 2006. His research interests include computer aided drug design and QSAR. |

| He is presently pursuing Ph. D. from RGPV, Bhopal. Currently four students are pursuing their masters thesis under his guidance. |

Mrs. Malik completed her M. Pharm. in 2001 from Panjab University, Chandigarh and Ph. D. in 2007 and later on moved to Mandsaur. Her research interests involve synthesis and pharmacological screening of antiamnesic agents. She has produced around six research papers in international journals. |
