Dr. V. B. Gupta
M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics), Ph. D., Director

 

  Dr. Gupta, Director B. R. Nahata College of Pharmacy & BRNSS Contract Research Center, has interest in education, research, literature and spirituality. Bringing Academia and Industry together is his immediate agenda. His research interest lies in Product Development, Green Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice.
     
An author of two books. Dr. Gupta is the Editor-in-Chief for ‘International Journal of Green Pharmacy’ and ‘Asian Journal of Pharmaceutics’. He assigns his 25% time for Industrial Linkage and Contract Research.

Prof. (Dr.) Siddeshwar Balkrishna Joshi

  Dr. Joshi is a renowned person in the field of Pharmacy. He has worked in various capacities in different universities including University of Sagar and Deptt. of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nagpur University. He has over fifty publications in various journals of repute.
     
He has one patent in his name and the other is under process. He is also member of department of special assistance of UGC project in Nagpur University and also has served as AICTE Emeritus fellow for two years. He has guided over 65 M. Pharm students.
 
Thirteen students have already received their Ph. D.s from him. Presently six students are doing their Ph. D.s under his guidance. His research interests include formulation development.
 
 
Prof. Vipin Saini

  Prof. Saini completed his M. Pharm. from Nagpur University in 2001. He has vast experience from industry and academic side. He joined BRNCP in 2005. He is also the associate editor of Asian Journal of Pharmaceutics. He is credited with building a strong academic-industry relationship by getting various research projects from developing companies.
 
Presently he is pursuing Ph. D. from RGPV, Bhopal. He is also Group Leader of BRNSS-CRC-SIRO and Mentor & Business Development Manager (BRNCP-TIFAC-CORE, GOI, New Delhi).
 
He is co-investigator for “Study of Bottlenecks in Industry, Academics and Institution Linkage in Pharmaceutical Sector and Development of Database for Academics Industry Partnership Promotion” which is a Government of India project. He has published around sixty articles in various national and international journals. He has already applied for eight patents as well.

  Mr. Sharma earned his M. Pharm. in Pharmaceutics from Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (Formerly College of Pharmacy) in 2004 under the supervision of eminent scientist Dr. D. K. Majumadar (Asstt. Prof., Dept. of Pharmaceutics and Hospital Pharmacy).
 
There his research work was mainly focused on suitability of beetroot color as pharmaceutical excipient in solid dosage forms and liquid dosage forms. Presently he is pursuing doctorate from RGPV Bhopal. He started his career in teaching in 1998.
 
Since then he worked at different capacities in Haryana and Rajasthan. He joined B. R. Nahata College of Pharmacy Mandsaur in June 2005. His research interests lies in the area of solubility enhancement strategies in solid dispersions for improvement of dissolution rate and bioavailability of poorly water soluble drugs and development of novel excipient for controlled release drug delivery system. He has guided around 11 M. Pharm. thesis.

Mr. Gupta is an alumnus of BRNCP and completed his M. Pharm in 2006. Presently he is pursuing Ph. D. from RGPV, Bhopal. His research interests involve novel pharmaceutical excipient development, novel controlled drug delivery system, cellulose modification and

Mr. Chatap is an alumnus of BRNCP and completed his M. Pharm in 2006. Currently he is pursuing Ph. D. from RGPV, Bhopal. His research interests involve novel polymer development, novel drug delivery system, DNA- based nanotechnology and herbal product development.

 
 
Mahendra Singh Rathore

Mr. Rathore finished his postgraduate studies in 2004 and was for some time with Jubilant organosys, Noida in the formulation development department. After that, he joined academics in 2004 and later associated himself to BRNCP in 2005. Presently he is pursuing Ph. D. from RGPV, Bhopal.

 
His research interests are in the field of formulation development and transporter targeted drug delivery. He is co-investigator for the “Study of Bottlenecks in Industry, Academics and Institution Linkage in Pharmaceutical Sector and Development of Database for Academics Industry Partnership Promotion” a two year project worth 16.75 lacs sanctioned by NSTMIS division of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
 
 
Amit Kumar Jain

Mr. Jain is associated with BRNCP since 2002 as Reader. He completed his
M. Pharm and B. Pharm from Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dr. H. S. Gour University, Sagar. Presently he is pursuing Ph. D. from the same University.

 
His key research interests include plant tissue culture, oral protein delivery, phytosome and pharmacological activities of plants. He has around 30 outstanding publications in various National and International journals.
 
 
S. Hari Hara Sudhan

Mr. Sudhan worked in many pharmaceutical companies as quality control chemist and product executive. Later on he completed M. Pharm from Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in 2006 and moved to Mandsaur.

 
His research interests involve isolation of newer antibiotic producing actinomycetes from marine and scale up by using various biotechnological tools. Currently he is pursuing Ph. D. from RGPV, Bhopal.
